Remote Ventilator Viewing Platform

A Clinician Focused Product

We are pleased to announce the release of our latest remote ventilator-viewing platform, CliniNet™ Virtual Report™ Viewing System.

 General Description
CliniNet VR functions as an upgrade to our existing CliniNet Server interface and offers enhanced viewing capabilities, three levels of user access with layered security as well as patient and ventilator connection and communication management tools.

CliniNet VR is an optional software platform designed specifically for clinicians, allowing them to view real time data of up to eight INSPIRATION® ventilators at the same time from a single computer screen as shown below. This application provides a more user friendly product with quick viewing access of all ventilator settings, monitored parameters, active alarms, real time curves, trend data, device location, device ID, patient ID, network settings, diagnostic information, as well as eVent Medical contact and support information.

Use of CliniNet VR requires the software to be installed on a network-enabled computer. Additionally, the INSPIRATION ventilators must have the CliniNet Server interface installed and will need to be connected to the facilities network. The ventilators can be associated with the hospital network wirelessly or directly. After installation on a network-enabled computer, the software provides access to the ventilators connected to the network, Depending on network configuration, the ventilators can be accessed from anywhere in the hospital or the world if the clinician has access to the network from outside the hospital.

CliniNet Virtual Report User Interface

The CliniNet VR Viewing System software offers a security rich, interactive multi viewer user interface that allow up to eight INSPIRATION Ventilators to be viewed at the same time.

Advantages as an Additional Clinician Tool
  • Teaching

Utilizing Virtual Report information brings the bedside to any location within the network. The challenge of teaching respiratory graphics monitoring becomes easier because you are now able to use real patient information. The concept of Virtual Report Respiratory Care rounds is now a reality.

Virtual Report Monitoring View

Each of the eight viewers shown below expands to allow full access to all ventilator data.

Advantages as an Additional Clinician Tool
  • Safety / Risk Management

Much of the duties of Respiratory Care practitioners are to ensure settings match physician orders. The increased complexity of today’s mechanical ventilators has made finding discrepancies similar to finding a needle in a haystack. Subsequently, Respiratory Care practitioner’s daily activities focus less and less on patient care and more and more on preventing mistakes. Utilizing the Virtual Report information can significantly reduce this phenomenon. Being able to view all ventilator settings remotely and/or centrally in real time, (depending on network settings) Respiratory Care Practitioner can significantly improve patient care focus.

Virtual Report Selectable Expanded Viewer

The expanded viewer provides full (real time) access to all ventilator data.

Advantages as an Additional Clinician Tool
  • Protocol Management and Implementation

As Respiratory Care continues to move towards protocol-based patient management, Virtual Report information can augment and provide the clinician with results-oriented information. All settings, trends, graphics and alarms can be analyzed during patient assessment rounds; again, away from the bedside continuously or at user-desired intervals.

Virtual Report User Application

Shift report, patient rounds, teaching, management review, service calls and troubleshooting in real time at centralized stations throughout the hospital or remotely around the world.

This is what Virtual Report is all about

Advantages as an Additional Clinician Tool
  • Isolation Patient Management

The challenge of managing an isolation patient being mechanically ventilated can be difficult. Virtual Report remote viewing capabilities can reduce the number of times a clinician needs to visit the bedside.
