Brent joined the eVent Medical team in January of 2007 as a Sales Manager. In June of that year, he was promoted to Marketing Manager, then Clinical Product Manager, and has been the Director of Clinical Development since January of 2010. In this role, Brent remains intent on the innovative implementation of expert patient-focused ventilator care.

Brent has an extensive clinical background in managing ventilators throughout the critical care spectrum. For the past 18 years, he has served the industry as Clinical Therapist, Clinical Educator and Clinical Director working with Naval Medical Center of San Diego, CA; Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, TX; Respiratory Associates of Texas, TX; Children’s Hospital of Austin, TX; St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center as well as a business manager and owner of Respiratory Resources of Texas for six years.

Brent earned his BS in Biology from Bradford College in Haverhill, MA and is credentialed by the NBRC as a Certified Respiratory Therapist and Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist. He is a patented inventor, holding one patent with two additional accepted by the patent office and pending approval.
